It does require line-of-sight to use just like a regular TV remote – sight is required. Overall, the streaming power of it is excellent. We have been very impressed with the quality of the build of the design and it is very stable. We have had no crashes and no issues with the TV during our testing of the device.

You have a monthly subscription. Not true. When you set this TV up it is going to ask for payment information but that’s just so you can add premium channels like HBO, Showtime, or Starz if you want. You do not have to pay for the Roku TV itself.
