start I’m looking for a new TV and I came across this product and I’m very interested. It’s a Samsung 55-inch Class Curved UHD TU-8300 Series – 4K UHD HDR Smart TV with Alexa Built-in (UN55TU8300FXZA, 2020 Model) w/HW-B650 3.1. ch Soundbar w/Dolby Audio 2022. I like that it’s a smart TV and that it has Alexa built-in. I also like that it has a soundbar with Dolby Audio. I think this would be a great TV for anyone looking for a new TV.

The Samsung UN55TU8300 is a great value for a budget-friendly 4K TV. It has decent picture quality with deep black levels and a wide color gamut, but its color accuracy could be better. It’s a very good TV for gaming, with low input lag and a great response time. It also has an excellent contrast ratio and can get bright enough to fight glare in a bright room. Unfortunately, the TU8300 doesn’t have great HDR performance due to its lack of peak brightness and lack of a local dimming feature. Its viewing angles are also poor, so it’s not the best TV for a large room. Despite these shortcomings, the Samsung UN55TU8300 is still a great TV for its price.

Now once you have the tv connected to the wireless network head on into the SmartThings app just verify that is all the way up to date. We are using version 1.7.54.21 at the time of this video so make sure that your app is updated and you’re using SmartThings not SmartThings Classic.
Going back, you may need to go through and set up a SmartThings account using the SmartThings skill in Alexa. So what you’re going to need to do is of course if you haven’t done this before I would highly recommend removing the skill and de-linking the accounts and then I would also recommend removing your tv from the SmartThings app so we can kind of start with a clean slate.
