How to Install a Projector on a Ceiling with 90
welcome tactical force and Imam today I’m going to be installing this projector up there today I’m going to be installing the projector on the ceiling I’m going to do this video a little bit differently from usual what I normally do is massively edit stuff and speed bits up and everything just so you don’t go insane on this one it’s going to be more or less completely unedited so you’re going to see all of the blue pairs all of the mistakes that are made you’re going to see the job from beginning to end in real time so it will be about an hour long video I hope you enjoy it if you have any questions please leave them in the comments below and I’ll try and answer them at the end and without further ado let’s get started so the first thing we need to do is take the projector out of the box and then we need to find some screws to mount it to the ceiling I’m using these screws here they’re just normal screws that you would use to put a picture frame up on the ceiling or something like that so we’re just going to be using those today so I’m just going to be using a drill to put those in so I have my drill here I’ve got a 3/8 drill bit which is the perfect size for these screws so I’ll just be drilling through the drywall and into a ceiling joist so I’ll be doing that for all four corners now if you don’t have a ceiling joist where you’re trying to put the projector you might have to get a little bit creative so you might have to use a Toggle bolt or something like that which is basically just a big fat screw that you put in the drywall and then it has these little metal legs that come out and they just grip on to the other side of the drywall so that’s something you might have to do if you don’t have ceiling joists to screw into so I’m just going to be drilling here we go so I’m just going to be drilling through the drywall and into the ceiling joist here so that’s what that looks like from the other side you can see my drill bit just poking through there so I’m just going to be doing that for all four corners and then we’ll be good to go so the next thing we need to do is actually put the projector up on the ceiling so I have my projector here we’re going to be using an Epson 50 40 w which is a really great projector for the price it’s around 700 dollars it’s got full HD 1080 it’s got 4000 lumens which is really bright so it’s perfect for a living room or even a classroom or something like that so we’re just going to be putting this up on the ceiling here so the first thing we need to do is actually put these screws in so I’ve got my projector here and I’ve just kind of put it up against the ceiling so that I know where the holes are going to be so I’m just going to be holding it in place and then I’m going to be taking these screws and just kind of threading them into the place so that’s what that looks like and then I’ll just be using my drill to tighten them all the way so that’s what that looks like from the other side so now we just need to put all of the wires through so that we can actually plug it in and power it on so I’ve got my HDMI cable here I’ve also got my power cable so I’m just going to be threading all of those through and then we’ll be good to go so now we just need to connect everything up and then we’ll be good to go so I’ve got my HDMI cable here I’m just going to be connecting that to my projector and then I’m also going to be connecting my power cable so now we just need to turn it on and see if it works so I’m just going to be plugging this in to the power outlet and then I’m going to be pressing the power button on the projector and then we should see something on the wall so it’s working great so now the next thing we need to do is actually focus the image so that it’s nice and sharp so I’m just going to be moving the projector around a little bit until I get a nice sharp image and then we’ll be good to go so now we just need to adjust the image so that it’s the right size for the screen so I’m just going to be moving the projector back and forth until I get the image the right size for the screen and then we’ll be good to go so that’s it that’s all there is to it thank you for watching if you have any questions please leave them in the comments below and I’ll try and answer them as soon as I can thank you
