The new device is powered by the A12 Bionic chip and has 8GB of internal storage. It supports 4K HDR content at up to 60fps, and Dolby Vision HDR. Samsung AU8000 4K TV – 1 Year Later – Still Worth Buying in 2022?
Hey guys it’s Chrissy and I’m back with another video and today I’m going to be comparing the Samsung Q60T to the Samsung Q80T to see which one is worth buying in 2021 so let’s go ahead and get started with the video so the first thing I want to talk about is the design both of these TVs have a very sleek and modern design with thin bezels all the way around however the Q80T does have slightly thinner bezels than the Q60T and both of these TVs have the same stand design which is a two-legged stand that’s made out of metal and it’s very sturdy so you don’t have to worry about the TV tipping over or anything like that so when it comes to the design I would say that the Q80T is the better option just because of the thinner bezels [Music] when it comes to the display both of these TVs have a VA panel with a native refresh rate of 60 Hertz however the Q80T does have a higher peak brightness of 1100 nits compared to the Q60T which has a peak brightness of 600 nits so when it comes to HDR content the Q80T is going to be able to display that brighter and with more detail so when it comes to the display I would say that the Q80T is the better option [Music] when it comes to the audio both of these TVs have two 10-watt speakers however the Q80T does have support for Dolby Atmos so when it comes to the audio I would say that the Q80T is the better option but if you’re not looking for Dolby Atmos then the Q60T is just fine [Music] when it comes to the connectivity both of these TVs have three USB ports HDMI ports Ethernet ports and they also have built-in WiFi however the Q80T does have one extra HDMI port and it also has eARC support so you can connect a soundbar directly to the TV and get Dolby Atmos audio so when it comes to the connectivity I would say that the Q80T is the better option [Music] when it comes to the features both of these TVs run Samsung’s Tizen operating system and they both have Bixby built-in however the Q80T does have a few extra features that the Q60T doesn’t have so the Q80T has Hyundai’s quantum dot color technology which is going to give you more vibrant and accurate colors and it also has array backlighting which is going to improve the contrast ratio and blacks will look deeper on the Q80T so when it comes to the features I would say that the Q80T is the better option [Music] so those are all of the differences between the Samsung Q60T and the Samsung Q80T and now I’m going to tell you which one I think is worth buying so if you’re looking for a budget-friendly 4k TV with a good display and decent audio then I would say go with the Q60T but if you’re looking for a more premium 4k TV with a better display audio and more features then I would say go with the Q80T so those are my thoughts on the Samsung Q60T and the Samsung Q80T and if you have any questions feel free to leave them down below thank you so much for watching and I’ll see you in the next video [Music]
